Hello, my name is Larry Hickerson and I am the owner and operator of Barbourville Funeral Home. I
have worked in the Death Care Industry for over 30 years and have owned my own Funeral Home for 10
Years. I always had a dream of opening a Funeral Home that was affordable to all families and
provided the same services as our families have become accustomed to. In 2008 I made that first
step and we have managed to move forward from that time.
I came to Barbourville in 2002 and fell in love with the country and the people of this area and
decided to make this my home. I have never regretted this choice or the choice of opening my own
Funeral Home.
Our Prayer is that death never enters your family, but if it does, we hope that you consider

Hello. Many of you may know me,my name is Doyle Gibson and I am an Apprentice Funeral Director at
the Barbourville Funeral Home. I would like to take this time to tell you a little about myself and

I am a native of Knox County, and have worked at the Barbourville Funeral Home for a little over 8
years, and am glad to serve the families of Knox and surrounding counties. Here at Barbourville
